CHICAGO (Sept. 15, 2009) – Megabus.com, the first intercity express bus service offering fares as low as $1 via the Internet, today announced it is extending booking through Nov. 30, 2009.
Megabus.com always encourages travelers to book early to secure the lowest fares, however the Web site typically doesn't allow for booking further than 45 days in advance. Extending booking dates through Nov. 30 will allow customers wishing to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday to book immediately.
"Megabus.com wants to ensure that our customers get the best fares possible," said Dale Moser, president and COO of megabus.com. We want people to be able to travel to see family and friends for the holiday season without stressing about travel costs, and this gives them the opportunity to plan ahead and book the best available fare.
Customers who are willing to book travel for Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as early morning and late night are more likely to receive the lowest fares.
